Nehemiah Project Ministry

The Nehemiah Project Ministry has been the impetus of the EBC building endeavor since 1995 and is scripture-based from Nehemiah 2:18, “Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.” The first two phases of the ministry are most evident in fundraising efforts for the purchase of eleven acres of land and for the construction and occupancy of the Family Life Center, respectively. Phase III is centered around Ephesians 4:12, “…we are Building on the Rock,” and includes a Capital Campaign in efforts to reach our pledge goals. This current phase will culminate in the completion of the new sanctuary, the Cathedral of Grace, scheduled for 2012.

New EBC SanctuaryIn 2001, the Nehemiah Phase III team was organized with a mission and purpose to raise internal and external funds to support the construction of our sanctuary. The team adopted the theme and chant, “We are Building On the Rock!”

The team chose two logos, the original three buildings which was modified to incorporate the buildings into one to signify the building process and the nail and circle which represents building God’s house on a solid foundation and the all-connected, continuing, unbroken Ebenezer Family, respectively. The Team also chose a second logo, which is an artist’s rendering of the front of our sanctuary.

The scripture of the team continues Nehemiah 2:18 and adds Ephesians 4:12, “For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” which is the reason we are “Building on the Rock!”

God's blessings and your prayers and support will make this a reality.
